Safety Manager - Commercial Build Project Lead
Job Description:This role involves overseeing the management of commercial building projects with a budget exceeding $100 million. The Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols, conducting regular site audits, collaborating with site managers and sub-contractors to implement best practices, and developing comprehensive safety plans.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) functions on large-scale construction projects. They should possess strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the implementation of HSE policies and procedures on commercial building sites
- Conduct regular site audits to identify potential hazards and risks
- Collaborate with site managers and sub-contractors to ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices
- Develop and maintain comprehensive safety plans for high-risk activities
- Provide training and guidance to site teams on HSE procedures and protocols
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE management on large-scale construction projects
