Due to continued growth, the Killard Group seeks to engage in dialogue with an experienced Safety Professional looking for their next Safety Manager role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to continue and set the strategic safety direction for the Killard Group nationally. The Killard Group is looking for an experienced Safety Manager who has a civil construction background with a proactive and passionate approach to Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Killard leadership team as Safety Manager to champion the national safety culture
  • Ensure the group is compliant with all relevant Safety legislation and regulations across infrastructure sites
  • Liaise with clients & stakeholders and conduct regular site visits to ensure the group's compliance
  • Lead and support all site teams to ensure best safety practices are being undertaken across all projects
  • Conduct site audits and relay reports to the Killard leadership team on findings and site safety performances.
  • Guide all site staff on safety matters, performance, and safety compliance
  • Maintain alignment with Australian employment law and SafeWork NSW

What We're Looking For:

  • Confident and resilient Safety Manager, with the ability to promote a strong safety culture
  • An experienced Safety Manager or someone in a Senior Safety role looking for a step into Safety management
  • In-depth understanding of Australian Safety legislation, enterprise bargaining agreements, and industrial/employee relations frameworks
  • Proven background in Safety Management within civil construction
  • Energetic and proactive approach to Safety and all matters HSEQ, combined with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
