Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Precedent Developer to join our Knowledge Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining precedent documents, ensuring compliance with document style requirements, automating precedents using software, and providing advanced word processing support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining precedent documents, including styling, formatting, and testing
  • Ensuring that precedents comply with document style requirements
  • Automating precedents using software
  • Providing advanced word processing support to the KM managers, including document creation and automation
  • Assisting with the evaluation and implementation of new technology to enhance workflows and knowledge-sharing across the firm.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills and experience using other Microsoft Office products in a legal environment
  • Experience using document automation software, preferably including automation
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
