Academic and Operational Coach

These coaches will provide academic coaching and supervision to students before, during, and after school, contributing to the teaching, learning, and caring of students in a safe and positive environment.

The role involves actively monitoring student engagement and behavior, providing educational and academic coaching, and reporting issues around the grounds. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, with a minimum ATAR score of 80, and be currently studying for a tertiary qualification.

The Academic Coach will be employed by MSI and will be required to satisfy child protection screening and adhere to the St Michael's Grammar School's Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct. The role requires the ability to promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people, provide adequate care and supervision, and act as a positive role model.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring student engagement and behavior
  • Providing educational and academic coaching
  • Reporting issues around the grounds

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • A minimum ATAR score of 80
  • Currently studying for a tertiary qualification
  • Anaphylaxis qualification and Asthma Management qualification preferred
  • Level II First Aid Certificate preferred
  • Employee Working with Children Check
  • National Police History Check
