About the Role

Berry Street's Take Two program is a leading provider of therapeutic services for children and young people who have experienced trauma, neglect, and disrupted attachment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Therapeutic Clinician to join our team in Melbourne and Gippsland. As a Therapeutic Clinician, you will work with clients at various stages of their episode of care, providing responsive clinical services and developing therapeutic treatment plans guided by the Neurosequential model and/or other clinical measures.

The successful applicant will have a sound understanding of the complexities of the service system and be able to provide direct service in the clinical assessment and treatment of young people and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry a case load and provide face-to-face clinical services across metropolitan Melbourne and Gippsland.
  • Conduct assessments and develop therapeutic treatment plans, with clear goals that are reviewed regularly.
  • Work in a systemic and collaborative manner with the client, family and the care team to achieve the goals within the specified time frame.
  • Provide nation-wide clinical services via telehealth.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor level or higher qualification in Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline.
  • A sound understanding of the complexities of the service system and the ability to provide direct service in the clinical assessment and treatment of young people and families.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and community.
