Youth Care Specialist

Berry Street's Residential Care Program offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people. As a Youth Care Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality therapeutic care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the Role- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide tailored support to young people, promoting their emotional, social, and educational growth.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and program guidelines to ensure exceptional care and child safety.
Responsibilities
- Deliver daily programs and activities designed to foster independence, self-esteem, and life skills.
- Manage household duties and prepare nutritious meals for residents.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with external agencies and services.
- A minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability are essential in this role, as you will be required to multitask and respond to changing situations.
