Environmental Sustainability Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage all aspects of environmental sustainability and ensure our supply chain complies with legal, safety, and ethical standards.

This is a critical role that requires the development and implementation of strategies, policies, or practices that strengthen our supply chain compliance and transparency.

  • Develop and implement environmental sustainability strategies to enhance our supply chain compliance and transparency
  • Leverage partnerships with third-party specialists to enhance our compliance program
  • Manage new and existing supplier due diligence, including audit and factory corrective action plans
  • Assess future ventures for potential environmental risks

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Environmental Social Governance team and make a real difference in the ESG space. You will work closely with our stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies that drive positive change.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental sustainability strategies, managing supplier due diligence, and assessing future ventures for potential environmental risks. Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in environmental management, sustainability, or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role in the footwear or garment industry
  • Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and environmental regulations
  • Knowledge of environmental best practices and industry standards
