Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in bookkeeping software.

The successful Bookkeeper will be responsible for preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and supporting compliance obligations. They will also work closely with clients to resolve any bookkeeping queries and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
  • Supporting the preparation of BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, and other compliance obligations
  • Reconciling bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Qualifications in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Proficiency in Xero and MYOB AccountRight
  • Prior experience in payroll processing
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (Dr/Cr, P&L, Balance Sheet)
  • Working knowledge of GST
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
