The Software Development Expert develops software and firmware solutions for embedded systems while improving the quality of the design of electronic products by thorough testing.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop high-quality code to interface power electronics for LED lighting, focusing on reliability, performance, testability, and maintainability.
- Integrate external communication protocols, including Ethernet and serial.
- Design architectures with consideration for real-time constraints, processing throughput, execution context, electrical protocols, data coherence, and concurrency.
- Perform bring-up of firmware on new electronics designs, ensuring proper initialization, configuration, and validation.
- Develop and maintain build automation tools.
- Collaborate to review code, designs, test strategies, and project plans.
- Write, maintain, and execute tests to ensure functional correctness and prevent regressions.
- Gather and analyze requirements.
- Present work to stakeholders to gather feedback and align on requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent years of experience.
- 2-4 years of Embedded Linux and C programming experience.
