Embedded Systems Developer - IoT Focus

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Embedded Systems Developer to join our team. As an Embedded Systems Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing embedded firmware for devices.

Your primary focus will be on integrating hardware, sensors, actuators, and wireless modules into scalable solutions. You will also work with cloud platforms to handle real-time data ingestion, device management, and over-the-air (OTA) updates.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to test and optimise systems for low power consumption, reliability, and real-time performance. Additionally, you will support and troubleshoot deployed devices, ensuring customers get maximum value from our solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop embedded firmware for devices
  • Integrate hardware, sensors, actuators, and wireless modules into scalable solutions
  • Work with cloud platforms to handle real-time data ingestion, device management, and OTA updates
  • Test and optimise systems for low power consumption, reliability, and real-time performance
  • Support and troubleshoot deployed devices
Requirements
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Understanding of wireless communications, IoT protocols, and cloud integration
  • A keen interest in solving problems across hardware, firmware, and software layers
