Job Role:

HSE Specialist

The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping safety outcomes across cutting-edge renewable energy projects.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support on health and safety matters across project and operational sites.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Foster a proactive and risk-aware culture within teams and contractors.
  • Lead risk workshops, participate in safety meetings, and coach internal staff and contractors in safety leadership.
  • Support the implementation of the business's Health and Safety Strategy and annual Safety Work Plan.

The HSE Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.

They will also develop training programs, conduct audits and investigations, and provide guidance on safety procedures and documentation.

Experience in managing H&S across both greenfield construction and operational sites is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

A strong understanding of psychosocial hazards and related risk controls is essential.
