As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring projects are completed safely. You'll support the development and implementation of health and safety policies, systems, and procedures, as well as collaborate across teams to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development, implementation, and review of H&S policy, systems, and procedures.
  • Collaborating with projects to ensure compliance with AGL's HSE Project Governance Procedure and Contractor Management Framework.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of business / H&S initiatives and actions.
  • Delivering HSE contractor forums for critical contracting engagements.
  • Assisting with RFP/tender reviews.
  • Monitoring H&S performance and implementing HS improvement programs or interventions to address performance gaps.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in WHS (Certificate IV minimum)
  • Health & Safety experience in Heavy Industrial, Construction/Demolition, and High-Risk Industries
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, accurate written and verbal communication
  • Proven people/stakeholder engagement skills
  • Effective project management skills
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong risk management skills
  • Experience with Contractor management
  • Incident Investigation and Management
