Kindergarten Inclusion Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kindergarten Inclusion Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Early Childhood Education department, you will play a vital role in supporting educators in developing inclusive kindergarten programs that cater to the diverse needs of all children.

  • Job Description:
  • Inclusive Program Development

    You will work closely with early childhood teachers and families to build on their existing knowledge and skills, while valuing their expertise in nurturing children's learning and development.

  • Consultation and Coaching

    As a specialist, you will provide resources, observe classrooms, offer personalized coaching, and link to professional development opportunities to support educators in adapting programs effectively.

  • Supporting Educators

    You will empower early childhood teachers by boosting their confidence and skills to adapt programs and encourage meaningful participation from all children.

  • Requirements:
  • Qualifications and Experience

    A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent is required, with additional qualifications in Special Education highly regarded.

    A current Victorian driver license is also necessary for travel across early childhood settings.

  • Key Skills

    Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).

    Knowledge of inclusion barriers in kindergarten settings, with strategies and practices to support diverse learning needs.
