**Job Title:** Learning Diversity Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated specialist to join our dynamic team as a Learning Diversity Specialist. This full-time role will play a crucial part in supporting the academic and personal growth of our diverse student population.

  • This is a mid-senior level, full-time position based in Keilor North, Victoria. The successful candidate will have a teaching qualification, registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), and a recognised qualification in Special Education or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working as a specialist teacher or learning support professional in a secondary school setting. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a range of stakeholders.

The Learning Diversity Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing individualised learning plans for students with diverse needs, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to learning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing individualised learning plans for students with diverse needs
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to learning
  • Providing one-on-one and small group instruction to students, tailoring teaching strategies to meet their unique needs
  • Monitoring student progress, analysing data, and adjusting learning plans accordingly
  • Liaising with external agencies and service providers to coordinate additional support for students
  • Contributing to the development and review of the school's inclusion and diversity policies
