Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Finance Lead to oversee the strategic planning, forecasting, and reporting across all business sectors within the HelloFresh group in the ANZ region. This role involves collaboration with various marketing and operations teams to enhance business insights, drive growth, and optimize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior finance executives across our ANZ divisions while supervising two direct reports.
  • Lead the ongoing development and continuous improvement of all five business sectors in ANZ, encompassing meal kits, logistics, and in-house meal production.
  • Elevate your expertise in financial and operational performance, ensuring complete visibility on all entities' Profit & Loss statements, as well as business-wide KPIs (both financial and non-financial), while supporting strategies to enhance margins and overall performance.
  • Take charge of refining, maintaining, and scaling both existing and new forecasting and financial simulation tools to effectively monitor and analyze our performance metrics.
  • Collaborate directly with our Global Finance BI Team to innovate new data assets, ensuring model and data reliability and availability.
  • Provide consultation on data structures and the value of new data assets for long-term automation, scalability, and the generation of new insights.
  • Continuously enhance the budgeting tool landscape and processes for all ANZ business sectors while engaging with key stakeholders and analysts.
  • Assist the broader finance team in process automation and insights where significant benefits are identified.
  • Lead automation initiatives and complex modeling projects from conception to implementation.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects and in-depth analyses as required.

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience working with extensive data sets, complex modeling, and leading direct reports in an analytical environment.
  • Background in finance or a related analytical field, with a solid understanding of operations and/or data-driven marketing.
  • A passion for enhancing financial performance through data and analytics.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining various financial and non-financial data sets/models using Python, SQL, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets tools. Familiarity with software such as Databricks, Workday Adaptive Planning, Tableau, etc., is a plus.
  • A strong problem-solving mindset, utilizing a logical approach to address identified challenges.
  • Excellent project management skills, comfortable collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and prioritize effectively based on evolving business needs.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for non-technical audiences, ensuring effective and concise sharing of findings.
