Job Title: Home Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Worker in Hobart, AU. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our aged community by assisting them to live independently at home for longer.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing domestic assistance, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Helping customers with meal preparation and shopping
  • Offering social support and access to lifestyle activities
  • Assisting with personal care, including getting customers ready for the day and managing medication
  • Providing respite and emotional support
  • Transporting customers to appointments and providing complex care for those with high needs

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for assisting our aged community
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle - travel is part of the role
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations
  • Availability to work at least 3 days a week, Monday to Friday, without night or weekend shifts
  • Comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems
