Water and Wastewater Technical Sales Support

This role involves providing technical sales support to customers, account managers, EPCs, and other prospects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing business cases for new sales opportunities, improving operational outcomes by using specialist products involving filtration, purification, and membrane process optimisation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the water and wastewater industry, as well as experience in providing solutions for municipal customers. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, prospects, and colleagues.

The Technical Sales Engineer/BDM will work closely with the global team to provide support and ensure seamless delivery of projects. They will also participate in the company's incentive scheme and enjoy a high level of autonomy, as well as a competitive above-market salary package including vehicle allowance and expenses covered.

  • Develop business cases for new sales opportunities
  • Improve operational outcomes using specialist products
  • Prepare quotations for mechanical and operational solutions
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, prospects, and colleagues

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience within the water and wastewater industry
  • Experienced water and wastewater technical expert with customer-facing experience
  • Experience providing water and wastewater solutions for municipal customers is highly regarded
  • Strong learning aptitude, including the 4Cs: critical thinking, creative thinking, communicating, and collaborating
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products
  • Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively
