Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer


We provide water services to communities in Australia, innovating ways to safeguard and secure the country's water supplies while elevating public spaces and enhancing liveability.


Our team has secured projects that will transform the way water operates in Australia. We deliver services across the full water cycle, including major pipelines, large pumping stations, and advanced water and wastewater treatment plants.


Key water utilities such as South East Water, Melbourne Water, Sydney Water, Water NSW, Sydney Desalination Plant, Urban Utilities and SA Water are among our clients. Our long-term panel contracts enable us to offer work opportunities from strategy development through design and construction support.



As a key member of our Water team, you will lead projects, mentor colleagues, provide technical oversight, and manage client relationships on various projects across the country. Our team is exploring new ways to integrate digital engineering, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence into projects, offering opportunities to future-proof your skills and broaden your expertise.


Requirements

You must be a design-focused Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer motivated by achievement and outcome-driven. Experience with design practices for water & wastewater across utilities and industrial applications will be highly valued. You should possess a pragmatic approach to developing constructable design solutions and have proven commercial acumen in delivering water infrastructure.


Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of large water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.
  • Investigate issues, prepare technical reports, designs, drawings, contract documents, and technical specifications.
  • Provide guidance to engineers within the company.
  • Maintain relationships with clients.
  • Assist industry leads in business strategy development.
  • Prepare bids for large and small projects.
  • Promote and practice our Zero Harm policy.
