Network Data Specialist

A Network Data Specialist role has become available within our Systems Control team.
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the efficient operation of our PowerOn systems by inputting, maintaining and validating accurate data. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating and maintaining complex electricity network diagrams, symbols, component attributes and data associated with network changes and information collection processes.
- Create and maintain accurate data in multiple business systems including DMS / GIS / AMS.
- Process construction plans, schematics, maps, data capture forms and other documents associated with electricity network changes in the DMS / GIS / AMS business systems.
- Undertake cross-systems verification work to deliver data improvement works that identify and correct discrepancies, inconsistencies and voids.
- Process and analyse small and large datasets ensuring cross system data integrity.
This is a permanent role based within the Essential Energy footprint with preferred locations of work at Port Macquarie or Canberra.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have exceptional stakeholder skills with the ability to mentor others and provide on the job training in a collaborative way. They will also possess logical thinking and excellent time management skills to ensure business targets are met.
Certificate IV in Surveying and Spatial Information Services is a required qualification for this role.
