About the Role

As a Business Systems Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in the energy industry's future by contributing to efficient PowerOn systems operation.

This is a permanent position within our Essential Energy footprint, with preferred locations of work in Port Macquarie or Canberra.

The role involves creating and maintaining accurate electricity system connectivity and data in multiple business systems, including DMS/GIS/AMS.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing construction plans, schematics, maps, data capture forms, and other documents associated with electricity network changes.
  • Cross-systems verification to deliver data improvement works correcting discrepancies, inconsistencies, and voids.
  • Analysing datasets to ensure cross-system data integrity.

You'll also be responsible for providing high-level service to internal and external customers for efficient field works completion.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional stakeholder skills, logical thinking, and time management skills to ensure business targets are met.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Surveying and Spatial Information Services.

About You

We're looking for someone who can interpret design construction drawings and NAR submissions outlining network changes, updating PowerOn DMS system.

Able to check network diagrams, electrical schematic drawings, maps, and symbology related to an energy distribution environment.
