Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Network Systems Specialist to join our team. As the successful candidate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our PowerOn systems by maintaining the accuracy and integrity of data.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and maintaining accurate electricity system connectivity and data across multiple business systems.
  • Processing construction plans, schematics, maps, and other documents associated with electricity network changes.
  • Undertaking cross-systems verification work to deliver data improvement works that identify and correct data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
  • Providing high-level service to internal and external customers to enable field works to be completed efficiently and effectively.

You will have exceptional stakeholder skills, including the ability to mentor others and provide on-the-job training in a collaborative environment.

To succeed in this role, you will require logical thinking and exceptional time management skills to ensure business targets are met.

The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting design construction drawings and NAR submissions outlining changes to the network in preparation for the update of the PowerOn DMS system.

You will also be required to check network diagrams, electrical schematic drawings, maps, and associated symbology related to an energy distribution environment.

The successful candidate will hold a Certificate IV in Surveying and Spatial Information Services or equivalent.
