We are seeking a seasoned asset strategist to join our team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to shape the future of asset management and contribute to delivering innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-level asset strategies to drive optimal fleet performance and align with business goals.
- Provide strategic leadership to multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and development in a high-performance culture.
- Evaluate safety and compliance requirements, embedding a Zero Harm culture and ensuring adherence to legislative and technical standards.
- Oversee maintenance management systems and reporting, driving data-informed decision-making.
- Partner with commercial teams to align asset lifecycle costing with customer pricing and business objectives.
- Drive innovation in maintenance strategies and evaluate industry trends to maintain Bis's position as a leader in asset management.
About You:
As an accomplished leader, you have a strong background in asset management, maintenance, or reliability. You thrive in strategic leadership roles that demand analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence. You are ready to take ownership of a critical function and make a meaningful impact on business outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
- Proven experience in developing and implementing asset and maintenance strategies.
- Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of asset management standards and underground coal legislation.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with maintenance management systems, data analytics, and lifecycle planning.
