About the Role

Northcott is a leading not-for-profit disability service provider that empowers individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely management of revenue processes and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage revenue processes, ensuring compliance with relevant contracts and price guides.
  • Forecast revenue and identify shortfalls in the claiming and invoicing process, providing solutions to resolve these issues in collaboration with other teams.
  • Manage debtors ledgers, ensuring on-time payments, DSO management, accuracy of customer balances, and timely escalation of issues.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of NDIS price guides and other contracts related to revenue.
  • Develop and implement reporting tools to communicate revenue performance and compliance against price guides and contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing errors and ensure accurate records.
  • Design and develop reporting tools to validate data and identify gaps in revenue management.
  • Work closely with the finance team and business to communicate revenue results and pricing guidance.
  • Monitor and report on debtors ageing, DSO, and difficult debtors, escalating aged debtors in a timely manner.
  • Provide recommendations for provisioning of debt and debt write-off.
  • Prepare cashflow projections of cash receipts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
  • Demonstrated experience in process mapping and review.
  • Demonstrated experience with revenue management and complex pricing structures in a service environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in control and risk reviews.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparation of daily, weekly, monthly revenue forecasting reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in analysing revenue against forecasts, and providing meaningful reporting on variances.
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating complex issues to a wide audience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a team to achieve a desired outcome.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in the disability sector.
  • Advanced knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is essential.
