A highly motivated and experienced professional is required to join our team as a skilled Clinical Nurse.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high levels of patient care are provided in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities- Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence-based, person-centered care.
- Demonstrate professional practice by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and policies.
- Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team's professional development and maintaining own professional learning and continuous professional development, providing supervision and teaching to peers, ENs, graduates and students.
- Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices.
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the healthcare continuum.
- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- 3+ years' experience within an acute environment.
- 1-year minimum team leader or in-charge nursing experience (desirable).
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.
- Passion for teaching, educating and up-skilling staff in cardiac operating theatres.
