About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Cardiac Cath Lab department.

As a member of our Cath lab team, you will operate across three theatres covering Cardiac, Vascular and Electrophysiology procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing safe, efficient and effective evidence-based nursing care
  • Servicing as a guide and mentor to other nursing staff members
  • Fostering a learning environment that supports continuous quality improvement
  • Collaborating with medical professionals for patient benefit
  • Maintaining clinical audits
  • Delivering education and support to patients on health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life care
  • Active registration with AHPRA
  • Prior experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or Surgical Cardiac experience desired
  • Background in angiography procedures
  • Able to develop professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective communication skills to achieve results
  • Commitment to ongoing quality improvement
  • Availability for on-call shifts within short notice
