Echocardiology Fellow Opportunity
">The position involves providing clinical care in cardiology and echocardiography for patients, with a focus on delivering high-quality healthcare.
">- Provide evidence-based clinical care for inpatients and outpatients
- Support the rapid cardiology clinic
- Perform and report transoesophageal echocardiograms under supervision
- Perform and report transthoracic echocardiograms under supervision
- Supervise the day-to-day running of the stress echocardiogram service and report stress echocardiograms
To be successful in this role, you will require:
">- AHPRA registration
- Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification
- Eligibility for registration in Australia as a specialist in cardiology
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or completion of 2 years of advanced training in cardiology
- Competency in cardiology and cardiac catheterisation
- Familiarity with acute coronary intervention and primary percutaneous coronary intervention programs
- Training and experience in cardiac catheterisation according to Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand guidelines
- IELTS examination with a minimum score of 7 in each component
- Vaccination against measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, pertussis, and hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening
- Criminal history screening
