Job Title: Safety, Quality and Performance Facilitator

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on patient safety and healthcare quality. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the development of a positive patient safety culture and support the implementation of strategic plans.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and effective communication abilities. You will work collaboratively with Divisional Services and professional groups to implement programs that enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support innovative approaches to delivering safe healthcare through quality improvement activities and projects
  • Collaborate with Divisional Services and professional groups to implement programs that enhance patient safety and quality outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of a positive patient safety culture within the Network

Requirements:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible for a current practicing certificate OR an appropriate qualification in an Allied Health discipline from a recognized tertiary institution, leading to registration or eligibility for membership with the professional association
  • Proven experience in managing significant projects to successful outcomes
  • Effective communication skills, including presenting complex concepts publicly
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience post-registration
