Groundwater Specialist Position
We are seeking a skilled Groundwater Specialist to deliver technical support across water resource projects and sectors.
- Manage, analyze and present environmental data (groundwater, surface water, soil recovery etc.)
- Conduct desktop research, background reviews and provide technical guidance
- Assist with report preparation, monitoring plans and proposals
- Provide expertise in groundwater flow, hydraulics, contaminated land assessment and water management
- Coordinate and implement field programs including drilling, monitoring well installations, pump tests and water sampling
- Supervise subcontractors during field activities
- Manage projects and tasks including scope, schedule and planning
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in hydrogeology, geology or environmental science
- Up to 5 years' relevant experience including groundwater sampling, well installation and pumping test supervision
- Understanding of Victorian environmental regulations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and database experience
- Full Australian work rights and current driver's licence
