Groundwater Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Hydrogeologist to join our Water Resources Team. The successful candidate will be involved in the design and execution of fieldwork programs, including drilling supervision, geotechnical logging, soil testing, groundwater monitoring and sampling.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in hydrogeology, with a Bachelor's degree or higher, and at least 2 years of direct consulting experience. They will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute fieldwork programs, including drilling supervision, geotechnical logging, soil testing and sampling
- Critical analysis and assessment of groundwater and geological related data
- Geospatial and 3D analysis – including GIS and Leapfrog (3D modelling)
- Conceptual assessment of groundwater flow, fate and transport
- Quantitative groundwater assessments of flow, fate and transport using analytical as well as 2D and 3D numerical modelling tools
- Bachelor's degree in geology/earth science/geochemistry/hydrology or engineering or related field of study
- At least 2 years of direct consulting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Post graduate MSc or similar in hydrogeology is preferred
- Strong GIS skills - ArcGIS, QGIS, or Surfer is preferred
- Experience assisting with groundwater assessments and site conceptual model development is preferred
- Fieldwork experience – drilling supervision, logging, testing, sampling, monitoring is preferred
