About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our Conference and Events Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising events, liaising with clients, and delegating duties to team members. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional service that exceeds our guests' expectations and aligns with Sofitel's brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and train the Conference and Events Operations team to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Supervise events, including coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Liaise with the kitchen to maintain the highest standards of food quality and visual appeal.
  • Ensure guest expectations are met, delivering a service that embodies luxury and sophistication.
  • Promote a strong team culture, focused on providing unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Requirements

  • A luxury service-focused personality with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Experience in leading a team and supervising others in a large hospitality events operation.
  • Ability to work rotating roster, including occasional late nights or overnight shifts.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification and a high level of personal presentation.
  • Team spirit and positivity, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively.
