Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Mental Health Professional to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment.

Your primary responsibility will be to work with individuals who have complex mental health needs and a history of violent and sexual offending. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments including risk assessments and clinical interviews
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions including individual and group sessions
  • Prepare treatment reports and risk assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Registered as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses

- Current driver's license
