This role requires a strong leader who can provide clear direction and guidance to the site team to ensure project goals are met.
Regular attendance and active participation in weekly site management meetings is essential for discussing project progress and addressing any arising issues.
The safety of all personnel on site must be prioritised, including conducting regular toolbox meetings and demonstrating a thorough understanding of occupational health and safety procedures.
Your Background- A trade qualification in Carpentry is a necessity.
- Proven track record of delivering projects as a head contractor is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in managing subcontractors, site supervision and an understanding of safety protocols.
- The ability to lead and drive jobs forward to ensure timely completion and stay within budget is critical.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and the capacity to work as part of a cohesive team are essential qualities for success.
- Excellent communication skills, along with the ability to build solid working relationships with subcontractors and tradespeople, are also vital.
