Rural Financial Counselling Instructor

The Salvation Army is seeking a skilled Rural Financial Counselling Trainer to join our Vocational Training team. As a trainer, you will play a vital role in equipping future counsellors to make a positive impact in their local community.
This casual role offers flexibility, allowing you to work remotely and adjust your schedule to suit your lifestyle (approximately 12 hours per week will be required). We are looking for an individual with work experience as a Rural Financial Counsellor and a passion for sharing their knowledge and expertise with others.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality training programs on campus, online, or in the workplace, adhering to RTO procedures.
- Source and contextualize training materials to meet learner needs, ensuring they are engaging and relevant to the current industry requirements.
- Mark submitted assessments within the required timeframe and provide meaningful feedback to learners.
- Establish and maintain strong networks across The Salvation Army, particularly within Eva Burrows College.
- Contribute to the evaluation program of RTO activities, including the compilation of reports with key learnings and recommendations for future planning.
We are seeking an individual with demonstrated experience in supporting diverse cohorts of learners on campus and online. To be successful in this role, you will require:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Relevant Financial Counselling qualifications
- Demonstrated experience supporting diverse cohorts of learners, on campus and online
