About the Role

The Salvation Army is seeking a skilled Rural Financial Counselling Trainer to join our Vocational Training team. As a trainer, you will play a crucial role in equipping future counsellors to make a positive impact in their local community.

This casual role offers flexibility, allowing you to work remotely and adjust your schedule to suit your lifestyle. You will be required to work approximately 12 hours per week.

We are looking for an experienced Rural Financial Counsellor who is passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise with others. The successful applicant will have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting learners in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality training programs on campus, online, or in the workplace, ensuring they meet the needs of learners and current industry requirements.
  • Source and contextualise training materials to engage learners and meet industry standards.
  • Mark submitted assessments within the required timeframe and provide meaningful feedback to learners.
  • Establish and build networks across The Salvation Army, particularly within Eva Burrows College.
  • Contribute to the evaluation program of RTO activities, including compiling reports with key learnings and recommendations.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Relevant Financial Counselling qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience supporting diverse cohorts of learners, on campus and online
