We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Coordinator to join our Brisbane Operations team on a full-time basis.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to our internal and external clients, ensuring seamless delivery of all catering requirements.
You will work closely with the Catering Manager to supervise the Brisbane Catering Team, providing leadership and support to ensure the highest standards of service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a high standard of food and beverage service, including coffee service and setting up/clearing for functions/meetings in a prompt, professional and friendly manner.
- Work the occasional morning and evening functions.
- Open and close the client floor, ensuring all is complete for operations including cleaning and restocking of staff hubs.
- Assist the in-house café.
- Coordinate, lead and support the Brisbane Catering Team with support from the Catering Manager.
- Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
- 1-2 years' experience in a hospitality environment, preferably in a boardroom setting.
- Previous experience as a Catering Coordinator or similar guest relations experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with people.
- Impeccable grooming standards and a professional phone manner.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend shifts.
- Experience as a barista or very good coffee making skills.
- Knowledge of table setting, especially in a fine dining environment.
