Leadership Opportunity for Senior Psychiatrists

Sought after role to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality mental health services. As Clinical Director, you will drive the development and maintenance of best practice care models and ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

This is a key leadership position within our organization's Mental Health Service, where you will be responsible for providing clinical direction and oversight to a multidisciplinary team. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring that our service remains at the forefront of mental health treatment and support.

The successful applicant will possess strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and guiding teams to achieve excellence in their field. You will have a passion for innovation, quality improvement, and excellence in healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and service performance
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality mental health services
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain partnerships and alliances
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards

Requirements:

  • Registration or eligible for registration with Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and/or equivalent specialist recognition as provided for by the Health Insurance Act 1973 and the relevant Award/Determination
  • Demonstrated subspecialty training in Adult Psychiatry
