Financial Operations Expert

This is a highly competitive part-time position available at a successful business. You will be joining a team that values innovative solutions, state-of-the-art facilities, and flexible work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the financial operations of the business, reporting to the Director.
  • Assess and implement software to streamline accounting functions.
  • Complete finance implementation of Odoo (ERP).
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, cash flow, BAS preparation and lodgement, weekly payroll, reconciliations, end-of-month processes, journals, and monthly/yearly reporting.
  • Engage with external accountants for audit purposes.
  • Budgeting and management reporting.
  • Director expense management.

This is an ideal opportunity for a collaborative and experienced finance professional to join a multimillion-dollar company with a strong client base and low staff turnover.

The working hours are flexible, with the option of working up to 32 hours per week across 4 days or 5 days with flexible start and finish times.

Key Requirements Include:

  • Accounting qualifications welcome but not essential.
  • Experience in a similar position with strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • ERP system experience essential (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, JDE etc).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proactive and positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
