Teacher Position

We are seeking an experienced and qualified educator to join our team as a teacher.

  • To teach students, provide them with a supportive learning environment, and foster their growth and development.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues, share expertise, and contribute to the school's Catholic faith-based education.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Education, VIT Registration, and a strong commitment to Catholic education. They must also hold a valid visa and/or full Australian Working Rights.

About the Role

This role requires excellent classroom management skills, a commitment to Catholic Education, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students and contributing to the school's Catholic faith-based education. This includes:

  • Nurturing each student's development and relationship with God
  • Modeling and bearing witness to the Catholic faith
  • Creating communities of learning that engage students with a Catholic faith
  • Providing a safe environment and supporting the school's zero-tolerance policy on abuse
  • Building partnerships with parents and the community
  • Using data to inform the learning cycle and differentiate the curriculum
  • Providing continuous feedback to learners
  • Reflecting on practice and documenting personal goals for ongoing learning
  • Working collaboratively across the school community
  • Demonstrating a commitment to lifelong learning and continuous improvement
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Education
  • VIT Registration
  • Valid visa and/or full Australian Working Rights

A strong commitment to Catholic education is essential for this role.
