About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Lead to shape the future of educator capability across both Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training.

This role is central to designing and delivering impactful programs that drive innovation and improvement in teaching and learning.

You'll work closely with academic and professional staff to identify capability gaps, co-design innovative learning solutions, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

This is a unique opportunity to influence university-wide learning strategies, collaborate with a forward-thinking team, and contribute to a future-focused, industry-engaged education environment.

  • Experience in leading the development and implementation of education-focused learning and development programs and strategies.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills with demonstrated success in influencing others with innovative solutions.
  • Experience in professional development for capability building of staff in contemporary approaches to learning and teaching in tertiary education.
  • Demonstrated outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of coordinating a diverse team and engaging with various audiences.

Key Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience and/or education/training in education, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Certification in Project Management (preferable).
