Job Title: Portfolio Risk Manager

Role Overview

This is a senior associate role in our Capital Structuring team where you will be responsible for the active portfolio management of our Institutional Banking and Markets (IB&M) portfolio from both a risk and return on capital perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, analyse and execute transactions to distribute risk from the CBA portfolio to other banks and investors as well as add risk via secondary loan markets where there is an appropriate return on capital.
  • Financial modelling of potential transactions, analysing, interpreting and structuring of transactions to ensure optimal outcomes for both the bank and our clients.
  • Executing transactions end to end from inception to financial close as well as in-life management of those transactions until end of life.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economics or Finance.
  • An inquisitive mindset and ability to pick things up quickly.
  • An open approach to working on a variety of transactions that could be unstructured.
  • Prior experience in Coverage, Loan Product, Credit Risk or Credit Portfolio Management roles.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
