We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Training Specialist to join our transport business.

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining safety policies, procedures, and guidelines. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive training to employees on various topics, including driver training, WHS (Work Health and Safety) training, and first aid training.

  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Provide safety training to employees
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
  • Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses
  • Review and update existing policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility laws and regulations
  • Monitor and track employee compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all safety and compliance activities
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in the transport industry
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Experience in developing and implementing safety and training programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is desirable
