Fantastic opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Manager to join our team in Huntingwood on a 12mth FTC to provide operational support to site teams in safety management processes. To be supportive of Metcash corporate purpose & values to proactively manage the safety of all employees in compliance with Australian Work Health & Safety (WHS) legislation. Providing administrative support to our operational leadership team and the Regional SHE Manager NSW.

What you'll do

Assist the Site Warehouse Managers and Supervisors to implement strategies & initiatives across warehouses as required.

Participating in Safety Management System implementation and Reviews

Assist and review the hazard Identification, Risk Assessments processes & Controls

Support the completion of SWOP consultation, reviews and updates as required

Implementing actions to promote early notification, investigation & documentation of all incidents.

Facilitating OHS promotion / programs alignment with local, State, and national events

Protecht entry completed in a timely manner aligned with business requirements

What You'll bring

Minimum 2 years' experience in an Occupational Health & Safety environment

Cert IV in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent experience

Sound understanding and operational experience of a warehouse environment
