HR Partners by Randstad is excited to be partnering with a global name in the heavy industries for a Lead People and Culture Business Partner role based in a dynamic location.
This role is responsible for delivering sound strategic and operational People and Culture (P&C) support and advice within its portfolio of BUs in line with the national P&C strategies.
The role will have both a BU and Regional responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support as required to specific projects and national initiatives either within the nominated business units ('BU') or as part of the broader HR/P&C team, including HSE.
- Escalation point, coaching, and supporting leaders and Business Partners in their BUs on all people matters, i.e., employee relations and industrial relations.
- Being the point of contact for Leadership and Executive Leadership Team.
- Overseeing workforce and resource planning, and succession planning activities.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Minimum 6-8 years of HR generalist experience, especially in a senior HR generalist role.
- Experience in a similar organisation - blue collar, multisite and unionised environment ideally industrial/heavy industry, FMCG, supply chain, and logistics, etc.
- Experience working with Executive and regional leadership teams.
