About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Recoveries and Settlements Officer to join our team at Acorn Rentals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for litigating and recovering demurrage claims from insurers nationwide, working closely with our National Recoveries Manager and other team members.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating with clients and insurance companies to negotiate and recover costs
  • Organizing and managing calendar appointments and deadlines
  • Drafting letters and documents to clients, solicitors, and insurance companies
  • Assisting in litigating claims nationwide and filing legal documents
  • Researching and compiling evidence for court

We are looking for someone with:

  • Legal Assistant experience
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Insurance experience is beneficial

About the Company:

Acorn Rentals provides replacement vehicles to people involved in motor vehicle accidents and in most cases we are reimbursed by the insurance companies. From our Head Office in Macquarie Park NSW we assist in litigating and recovering costs on demurrage claims from insurers for branches in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.
