Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our Corporate Finance Team. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with Business Leaders across Divisions to enhance key performance delivery and ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Support: Provide financial insights and guidance to the business, recommending commercial constructs, business cases, and models for new divisional initiatives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Ensure the delivery of financial and managerial reports to internal stakeholders, including monthly management, operational, and Board reporting.
  • Business Pack Development: Provide input into business packs and materials to prepare and inform business cases.
  • Performance Analysis: Identify performance opportunities through analysis and interpretation, providing clear insights to Directors and leadership teams.
  • Planning and Reforecasting: Support the planning and reforecasting processes for Divisions, providing adequate rigour and challenge.
  • Process Improvement: Seek and execute process improvements to the existing operating rhythm, both within and across the wider business.
  • Financial Modeling: Create and update relevant financial models to support new and ongoing business initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Understand financial implications and risks, including mitigation, of performance, projects, initiatives, contracts, and educate key stakeholders on these.
Requirements
  • Experience: Three years' experience in a finance role in a comparable organisation environment.
  • Self-Awareness and Effectiveness: A high level of self-awareness and personal effectiveness.
  • Communication: Effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail.
  • Creative Thinking: Creative thinking, analytical, and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • Formal Qualifications: Formal qualifications in a relevant area and/or CA/CPA accreditation.
  • Analytics Tools: Familiarity with TM1, PowerBI, or similar analytics tools.
  • Industry Experience: Specific experience in the Banking, Finance & Insurance and/or Technology industry and associated understanding and knowledge of the current and emerging regulatory, commercial, technology, and operational trends.
