Job Overview

As a Senior Legal Specialist, you will provide strategic legal guidance on governance, compliance, risk and regulatory matters within the Community Bank model and Franchise Agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations related to the Community Bank model.
  • Advise on governance, compliance, risk and regulatory matters across ACCC, ASIC, APRA, AFCA and other areas.
What You'll Bring
  • A strong understanding of Corporations Law and other statutory requirements in the Community Bank model.
  • Knowledge of legislative impacts from a government perspective.
  • Demonstrated legal experience in banking, finance, franchising or related sectors.
  • Sound knowledge of general banking practices.
  • Strong negotiation, leadership and influencing skills.
  • Qualified Lawyer with 7-10+ years PQE.
