Water Safety Operations Manager

We are seeking a leader to manage aquatic operations. As one of Australia's fastest growing and culturally diverse councils, we strive for excellence in our services and ensure they are efficient and accessible.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate risks and implement measures to maintain public safety in our facilities, adhering to relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Maintain a strong safety culture within the organization by ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Promote high-quality standards in water safety and aquatic operations.
- Supervise Pool Lifeguards to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety, service delivery, and cleanliness.
- Oversee facility maintenance work, ensuring safe practices and quality results.
- Maintain accurate records and administration procedures, including staff rosters, timesheets, and maintenance schedules.
- Degree in sport and recreational management or related field, or equivalent experience in aquatic operations.
- Aquatic Technical Operator's Certificate.
- Current Pool Lifeguard Award.
- First Aid Certification.
- Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Valid Driver's License.
