Job Title: Aquatic Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aquatic Operations Manager to join our team. As the key person responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aquatic facilities, you will be accountable for developing and implementing policies, procedures and training programs that meet or exceed regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies to optimize facility usage and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness and water quality in all aquatic areas.
  • Supervise and mentor pool lifeguards to ensure they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to respond to emergencies and provide excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver recreational programs that cater to diverse age groups and abilities.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation and optimal returns on investment.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in aquatic operations, safety management and staff supervision.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry best practices.
  • Qualifications in a related field such as sport and recreation management or a similar discipline.
