About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Support Worker to join our team in Queanbeyan. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to our elderly customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Domestic Assistance: Cleaning and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping
  • Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Personal care, including assistance with medication management, mobility, and therapy goals
  • Respite and emotional support
  • Social support and transport to appointments
  • Complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

Requirements

  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle
  • Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday
  • Comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems

Before joining our team, we will be performing a National Police Check/Right to Work, functional fitness assessment on your behalf, as well as confirming evidence of COVID vaccination.
