About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team in the Queanbeyan area. As a Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to older adults in their own homes, enabling them to live independently for longer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Domestic Assistance: Cleaning and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping
  • Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Personal care, including getting customers up, showered, and dressed for the day, managing medications, and assisting with mobility and therapy goals
  • Providing respite and emotional support
  • Social support and transport to appointments
  • Complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

Requirements

  • Current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle
  • Previous care worker experience essential, but no certification or qualification necessary
  • Availability to work at least 3 days - Monday to Friday
